Whiff of Joy's Henry Mouse

Good morning everyone!!

Today's card features Henry mouse w/hot chocolate which I got over at Little C's. Have you visited Jen lately? She's got some new images in for holiday crafting fun!! I can't wait to start playing with some of those cuties!!

My card base is Kraft, layered with some older MME dsp. I cut my scallop with a Quickutz scallop circle die and the circles were cut with my Coluzzle. The vanilla ribbon is from Longs and the bling was purchased at Scrapbook Heaven. Did you know you could color your bling with Ranger's Adirondack Alcohol Ink? Really cool stuff! I'll show you some in my next post 'kay?

Have a great day everyone!

Autumn Trevor and his little pumpkin

Hi there! Hope you are all ready for Turkey Day!!! I'm not. But that is a whole other story we'll save for a rainy day! he he!!
I really like the way this card turned out. I created a sketch for this card on PSE then tweaked it a little.....The orange circle was way too bright so I used some Brushed Corduroy Distress ink to tone it down. ...my main image is Autumn Trevor which is available at Little C's along with many other very cute CC Design stamps!! I colored little Trevor with PrismaColor pencils, Copics and Watercolor crayons. I also used some faux stitching and paper piercing around my circle. I was going for the "un-stitched" look. Guess I better practice that one a little more huh?
Hope you all have a blessed holiday!
Hugs,
Ali

Little C's Challenge Day!

Today is challenge day over at Little C's SSH blog! This weeks challenge is to incorporate stitching into your creation.

Can you see the Stickles sparkle on this tiny drop of water? Don't you just love Stickles? I do. No fuss, no mess! I still use regular glue and glitter but for tiny things like this and covering flowers, I'll reach for Stickles every time.

My image is Peek a Bunny which is available at Little C's along with many more adorable images from Rachel Ann Miller. I colored her in with PrismaColor pencils and shaded the background with Ranger Distress inks. The sentiment is from The Greeting Farm's Happy Chef also available at Little C's.

Now let's get into this week's challenge... We are challenging you to create with "stitching" (faux stitching is acceptable as well). Deadline for this challenge will be 2 weeks from now, which falls on December 3rd. Because next week is Thanksgiving, we understand that you might not have the time to create for this challenge. So take your time and take up to 2 weeks to create!!!! Winner will receive 1 Christmas Stamp of your choice from Little C's (up to a value of $10).

Hope you can all join us. For more inspiration, head on over to Little C's SSH blog to see what the rest of the DT created. You won't be disappointed!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend!!

Hugs & Blessings,

Ali

Little C's challenge day!

Happy Aloha Friday!
As most of you know, every Friday the fantabulous owner of Little C's ((Jen)) issues a challenge to the crafting community. Today's challenge calls for creating tags! I had so much fun making these cuties! And since I've always loved everything "mini" tags are such a delight for me.

So, for this week's challenge - we are asking you to create 3 or more different Christmas Tags. Post your creations to the web, and comment on Little C's SSH blog with the URL to your creation. The winner will receive 1 Christmas stamp of your choice from Little C's. Deadline to post your URL to our website will be on the 18th of November.

Isn't this snowman just adorable? He is from Whipper Snapper Designs.

This yummy musubi "tree" is from Create in me. I used Ranger distress Stickles for the nori and since Distress Stickles aren't as glittery as regular Stickles it was a perfect match.

Another little cutie from Create in Me.
Head on over to Little C's for all of your Christmas stamping needs!
