A give away!!

Good morning! Here is a card I made for Little C's SSH. You can purchase cute Emma along with lots of other yummy stamping goodies online at Little C's!!

The card base measures 5.5" x 5.5"(Groovy Guava) and the DSP I chose is an old retired SU! line that I am hoarding. Bad hoarder! Bad! Bad! Bad!

The ribbon, button and bling in the corners were all purchased from Scrapbook Heaven. Shae and Annie have an awesome selection of ribbons and BG buttons. You should really go check them out!

The scallop around Ms. Emma was cut from my Cricut and she was colored in with Copics. What do you think of the sidewalk? I saw it done by Amy R. over at Prairie Paper and Ink and I thought I'd give it a try. Thanks Amy!!

Before you go, I need your help! Every year I get flustered around the holidays and do everything so last minute. So if you don't mind, please leave me a comment on where or when you like to shop for groceries, how you keep things organized and fun or anything you can think of to help make this holiday season memorable as well as peaceful for me. And I will use random.org to pick the winner of a $15 gift certificate to do some online shopping at Little C's!!

Gratefully,
Ali

Make and Take happiness!!

Hi there again :) I just wanted to share a "make and take" that my daughter and I did over at Scrapbook Heaven. The lovely and ever talented Shae walked us through it and gave us lots of ideas on how to use this "green" creation. I say "green" because it is a recycled veggie can. Very cool Shae!

Here is a close up of the Crackle distress paint we used on this ginormous Sizzix snowflake. Isn't it beautiful? I love Distress Crackle paint!! I was going to add some Broken China Distress ink to the edges but I flaked! (hah hah! pun intended!!) Sorry, I was just running up and down the street in the hot hot sun with my youngest who recently learned how to ride a 2 wheeler! And I needed a little chuckle.

Alright, I'm gonna go clean up my craft area so I can post some pics of it. See u later! P.S. This Saturday Scrapbook Heaven will be doing this very nice M&T card for only $3.
And check out their November class schedule! Lots of fun classes!!
See you soon with my craft space pics!
Blessings,
Ali

Whiff of Joy at Little C's!

Good morning! It's challenge day over at Little C's SSH blog!! Here are the deets:

Challenge: Pink and Black any shade!!

Deadline: Wed Nov 4th @ 6pm Hawaii time. Post a comment on the SSH blog with a link to your card.

Prize: $10 gift certificate to Little C's and a Henry Mouse Angel stamp!!

The DT was blessed to use Whiff of Joy's Henry Mouse stamps which are newly available at Little C's. Isn't he just so adorable? I sure had fun with all those layers! And if you look closely, you can see his puffy little marshmallows and the puffy top of his beanie. I think I may have heated that one up a bit too long..ooops!

If you got a minute, head on over to the blog and see what the rest of the DT came up with for this challenge! (They are all so cute!) And get some inspiration for your challenge creation.

P.S. Great news!! The Magnolia sale at Little C's has been extended until this Sunday!!

I can't wait to see what you come up with!
((hugs to you)), and thanks for stopping by :)

Little C's Stamp n' Scrap challenges

Every Friday Little C's offers a fun and rewarding challenge to the crafting community near and far. Here are a few of my past submissions for Little C's SSH challenges....

This is Bubbles Kimo on SU Chocolate Chip with BG crunchy from the Granola line. I used Copics to color him in and Distress Inks for the background. The very reassuring Sentiment can be found at Little C's. Jen has created a bunch of them! They are so sweet and are so versatile and can be used on any card! Bubbles Kimo is a digital stamp also available at Little C's.

This card features Tina Wenkes Thinking of You stamp and ANA flowers. I colored with both Copics and Prismacolors. And I also did some faux stitching around the edges of the DSP layers. The little envelope in the flowers is from a Sizzix die that Jen gifted me a few months ago. Isn't it cute? The flowers are both Prima and ANA

This is Heidi among the flowers - also available at Little C's.

And this was for today's color challenge. It was a double challenge for the DT. We were to use the colors given along with Two Scoops Rice Designs new digi stamps. The colors were great and you all know I love digital so it was lots of fun! Play along with us, the deadline is Oct. 28th 6 pm Hawaii time! Please Note: You do NOT need to create with Two Scoops Rice Designs - however, if you do, your name will be entered TWICE!!
Want some inspiration? Head on over to the blog and see the gorgeous samples that the other DT members have created using these fun colors and stamps! And don't forget to join us for a new challenge every Friday!

Thanks for stopping by and Have a great weekend!

Mini Album pages 1 & 2

Here they are! Pages 1 & 2. They took me the longest since it was my first time and I was so nervous! Too many ideas running through my mind! Where is a pause button when you really need one?

***

Below is page 1. I stuck in a piece of CS just to give an idea how a photo can slide in under the Nestie die cut.

***

And below is the same page without the CS to show the embossing and distress on the photo mat. The pumpkin is SU! which I colored with Prismacolor pencils then embossed.

***
Here is page 2. It is a kind of flip up pocket as you will see in the next photo. The tag is distressed with Ranger's Distress Ink and I hand drew the journal lines because I currently DO NOT own any journal stamps! Crazy isn't it? I just can't find any that I love ! The cover is embossed with a CB folder and inked with Distress Inks. The Nestie square base was sprayed with TA Coffee Shop. BG bling is on the corners and Prima flowers in the middle.

***
This is the inside of the flip/pocket. A space for pictures or journaling.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

TWS Mini Album swap

Hi there! Here are a few pictures of a mini album I'm working on for a swap through TWS. My partner lives all the way in New York so I gotta get crackin' to get this out to her in time!

Here is a close up of the large Prima I have on the cover. I used Distress Stickles Rock Candy. It looks so good IRL. The sparkles are chunkier than regular Stickles and the Distress isn't a blingy blingy.

Here you can see I distressed the edges of the Prima with Distress Ink.

I plan on leaving the cover pretty bare so that the recipient can personalize it more to her liking.

Thanks for stopping by! I'd love for you to come on back tomorrow for pages 1 - 4.
Have a great evening!
Ali
